Synopsis
Lanky, nervous Constable Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) travels from the "civilization" of New York City in 1799 to investigate a series of grisly decapitations upstate. He comes with odd equipment to scientifically investigate the murders. The superstitious residents of the town of Sleepy Hollow, including the curvaceous Katrina Van Tassel (Christina Ricci), are convinced that the Headless Horseman is to blame.
