Albert Einstein Gifts

This crazy-haired cute genius was born on March 14, 1879 in Germany. Believe it or not, Einstein used to have a bit of a speech problem as a child. He tried learning the violin, but hated the lessons, so he tried his hands at the piano. And how’s this for high school drop-outs: Einstein didn’t even complete it! He tried to apply for what would be the equivalent of an Ivy League school, but because he didn’t have a high school certificate, he couldn’t get in, although his science and math scores were very high on the entrance exam. In 1921, Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. Einstein was responsible for the discovery of that little thing called, oh, the Special Theory of Relativity. He also made major contributions to relativistic cosmology, critical opalescence, classical problems of statistical mechanics, atomic transition probabilities… okay, this could be a really long bio… He died on April 18, 1955, but his contributions to science and mathematics will definitely remain relative.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

“Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.”

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.”
