| These Shakespeare Earrings are as original and creative as they are unique. This pair of earrings is hand created by taking an original uncancelled Shakespeare commemorative 5 cent stamp from 1964. The stamp was published to celebrate the 400 year anniversary of Shakespeare's Birth. The stamp is cut to fit on to a sterling silver backing. Because each of the earrings is an orignally handmade piece there will be a slight variation in each pair of earrings. However, each pair is designed to look like the picture shown. Each pair of earrings will have one of a portrait of Shakespeare and one with the stamps 5 cent value and Shakespeare's name and the years 1564 - 1964. Since each piece is made from an original stamp and NOT a reproduction, the number of earrings that can be made is limited. And its orignality and limited supply make this a pair of earrings that can grow in value each year. Now available in two size. Each earring is 1/2" or 5/8" in diameter.
